The founder of Northern College of Acupuncture, where I studied, is featured on television discussing acupuncture and its effects on the brain. The episode, ‘Trust Me I’m a Doctor’, aired on BBC 2 on Wednesday, 15th October 2014. Hugh McPherson and his team at York University demonstrated how the brain responds to acupuncture needles during an MRI scan.
